Wreath Design Using One Stroke Technique

Hi everyone

Today we’re doing some Christmas Wreaths.

Note: Kirsty didn’t send the photos of the wreath 😂

So I’m going to use a display tip for this because this was filmed during lockdown (no meeting clients 😢) and I’m going to start with two coats of butterscotch. Use a base coat if you’re doing this on a natural nail. I’m then going to Matte Top Coat because I’m using acrylic paint for the next bit. I’m going to add a bit of water and dip one side of the brush in white paint, the other side in green and blend them together. I’ll then do a series of angled lines to create the leaves of my wreath. I’m going to do the same with a bit more yellow over the top of the original lines to bulk it out.

I’m going to do the same at the bottom of the nail to fill that blank space because it’s booooooooring! I’m going to top coat the nail to seal in the paint with surprise, surprise, Matte Top Coat. I’m going to dot foil transfer glue over the wreath and apply the foil transfer. I’ll repeat the last two steps for each colour foil I want to do. I’ll finish with a could of layers of top coat just over the foil to make it a little 3D.
