I meant to do this one, well, about a year ago. I just lazied out and forgot. This is my favorite boss theme from Graces, and still high up among all the Tales. A lot of Motoi's orchestral themes, like bosses from Star Ocean 4 and the monster boss theme from Graces just kinda annoy me. They don't have the smoothness and rhythm I expect from Sakuraba, but this one really captures the essence of his guitar and rock organ without using them. This one really feels like a battle with stakes. I remember fighting Malik for the first time on the Wii whenever I hear it, it felt very grand and meaningful.
