K'GARI, Australia: Travel GUIDE to Fraser Island, the MOST UNIQUE Sand Island in the WORLD in 4K

Welcome to nature wonder K'Gari! Formerly known as Fraser Island, this is the world's largest sand island. It's undoubtedly one of the major highlights of Queensland and entire Australia. First of all it's mind blowing how tropical rainforest took over a large sand bank in the ocean. In a million years the island evolved over time, creating a unique place for the whole world. Nowadays you can find tropical trees and flowers, birds, goannas, jungle rivers, sandstone formations, fresh water lakes and a photogenic shipwreck.

In the previous episode we took you to Whitsundays, another place that's heaven on earth! Among 74 islands in total and the clearest blue ocean in between, we caught an ocean raft to explore the highlights. We saw stingrays, beautiful coral, the best view on Hill Inlet, the whitest beach called Whitehaven Beach, birds, monitor lizards and more! Whitsundays is a place every traveler wants to visit in a lifetime and in the video you can see why! We also filmed an episode in Bowen. Just north of the places with a lot of tourism is the pretty little town waiting to be discovered. In this other video you can learn all about Bowen and why you should go there!

Before the Whitsundays we explored Magnetic Island, an animal paradise. Just half an hour off the coast of Queensland, this is the biggest chance to spot koalas in all of Australia. After being discovered by captain Cook in 1770, his ship had trouble navigating through a magnetic field, hence the name Magnetic Island. The video shows a beautiful setting of green mountains, rocky beaches and plenty of wild animals.
