In this talk, Bill will explain how setting CPU limits in K8s can affect your software’s performance. He will use Go as the case study and share how the Go scheduler works, CPU and IO bound workloads function, and then how K8s CPU limits work under the covers. With this information presented, Bill will run a Go service in K8s and experiment with K8s and Go settings to see how the performance of the Go service changes.
