The story behind the song ‘Want You To Know’ ( in memory of )
Twelve years ago Niek received a phone call in the morning that his best friend died in a car accident. The loss of a great person and friend who’s journey and adventure on earth ended way to fast. Niek wrote a personal song about this tragedy and friend… and came to me with the question if I could make a whole production. Then the hard work started with my limited home studio tools and instruments. Niek needed exactly 10 minutes to do his quite emotional vocal tracks on some basic music guide lines I already recorded. That’s super and we both were satisfied with it. The rest of the evening was an enormous attack on my fridge. Anyway…it was a great evening except for the hangover the next morning. The following day’s I started to play, play, play and what you hear is the final result
