兜兜轉轉十幾年，美國海軍盼星星盼月亮，終於將阿利伯克Ⅲ型盼出來了，英格爾斯造船廠，於6月27日宣佈，阿利伯克Ⅲ型驅逐艦首艦，在完成4次海試後交付美國海軍，此次交付的伯克Ⅲ型驅逐艦，換裝了最先進的AN/SPY-6(V)1有源相控陣雷達，宙斯盾艦載作戰系統也升級到了基線10的版本，除此之外，英格爾斯造船廠還有4艘，處於不同建造進度的伯克Ⅲ型驅逐艦，包括DDG-128泰德·史蒂文斯、DDG-129耶利米·丹頓，DDG-131喬治·M·尼爾以及DDG-133山姆·納恩。
