First 100k Ultramarathon Attempt - SwissPeaks 100 (2023)

Although I did finish and so my first 100k attempt theoretically counts as a success in this sense, I clearly overestimated my abilities and ended up with a finishing time more than 5 hours slower than my pessmistic pre-race estimate.
I would say SwissPeaks 100 is a particularly difficult 100k ultra because of its sustained and difficult terrain. Perhaps not so suitable for people making their first attempt at that distance. But I've learned a lot from it, and it's definitely worth the pain and suffering. And the view is almost always magnifique on the race course. Highly recommend~(?)
