Ryan Wimpey is the founder of Tip Top K9 Dog Training, one of America’s leading dog training franchises with over 24 locations nationwide. With a lifelong passion for dogs and a mission to keep pets in homes and out of shelters, Ryan has dedicated his career to transforming unruly dogs into well-behaved family members—and empowering others to do the same.

Ryan began his dog training journey in high school, walking neighborhood dogs and teaching basic obedience using treat-based techniques. After college, driven by a desire to help misunderstood dogs like his own Schnauzer/Terrier mix, he interned under a professional training group while working full-time. It was here that he realized the life-changing impact dog training could have for both families and their pets.

In 2010, Ryan launched Tip Top K9 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, blending obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, and a unique in-home approach. He quickly gained a reputation for solving complex cases—such as working with aggressive dogs that other trainers had turned away.

Under Ryan’s leadership, Tip Top K9 has expanded into a trusted national brand with a proven franchise model, world-class training programs, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
