Join us for a powerful and thought-provoking fireside chat featuring Frank Wilderson III, a leading scholar in Afro-pessimism, alongside Kevin Morse and Dr. Justin Clardy, as they explore themes of civic indifference, Black suffering, and the structures that shape our social and political realities.
Moderated by Dr. Justin Clardy, this conversation dives into questions of anti-Blackness, the limits of political and social reform, and what it means to think beyond the frameworks of progress and redemption. Wilderson, known for his groundbreaking work Afro-Pessimism, challenges us to confront difficult truths about the world we live in and the ways Black suffering is both produced and ignored.
