DJ Dispute Turns Deadly in Kalowali Village, One Youth Killed in Brutal Attack

A violent clash over loud DJ music in Kalowali village took a tragic turn, resulting in the death of a young man. According to information, a DJ was set up in a narrow street to celebrate a child’s birthday. Due to the loud volume of the music and obstruction to public movement, an argument broke out between two groups, which soon escalated into a brutal confrontation.

Initially, the matter was limited to a verbal dispute, but later both sides allegedly attacked each other with sharp-edged weapons. During the assault, a youth sustained severe head injuries and his condition became critical on the spot. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The deceased’s friend, Gurmeet Singh, stated that the fight began near the DJ setup and the victim tried to flee to save his life, reaching near a gurdwara sahib. However, the attackers continued to chase him and allegedly struck him repeatedly with sharp weapons. Eyewitnesses reported hearing desperate screams and cries for help at the scene. Some audio recordings have also surfaced, in which people can be heard pleading to stop the attack.

The victim’s family said that he was unmarried and the sole support of the household. They have demanded immediate arrest of the accused, warning that they will stage a protest outside the police station with the body if justice is delayed.

Meanwhile, police officials confirmed that an FIR has been registered against the involved parties. After conducting the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the family. Police said that some of the accused have been identified, while raids are ongoing to trace unidentified suspects. Authorities assured that strict legal action will be taken against all those responsible after the investigation is completed.
