So Many Drops… Still No Saddle! - Ark Survival Ascended - The Island (EP213)

In Ark Survival Ascended EP213 on The Island map, I take my Pteranodon out for one last loot run before heading back to the snow biome base, hoping Ark finally cooperates and drops an upgraded Baryonyx saddle.

I hit drop after drop across the map, blue, green, yellow, and even red beams lighting the sky. While the saddle I’m chasing never appears, the drops aren’t a total loss. Along the way I score an upgraded pickaxe, gasoline, medical brew, and several blueprints for armor and saddles that could become huge later in the series.

One of the drops turns into an unexpected problem when I run into a pack of Daeodons, leading to a messy fight that leaves both me and my Pteranodon taking damage. It’s a reminder that even “quick” loot runs in Ark can turn dangerous fast.

I eventually make it back to the stone castle to repair my armor and prep for the next challenge.
