[About Yuki Shimomura]

Veterinarian. 39 years old.

After graduating from university in 2011, he went to Germany to study clinical medicine at the Large Animal Clinic of the University of Hannover. He then went to Kentucky in the United States and trained as a veterinary assistant at Park Equine Hospital. After returning to Japan in 2014, he worked in the medical department of Hidaka Light Horse Breeding Cooperative, and has been working at Shadai Farm since 2016.

He will be the representative of Okaribe Farm in spring 2023.

As a shareholder, he is also actively investing in several generations of horses.

He has invested in Tastiella (Derby winner), Road Valenti (4 wins), Miracle Tiara (4 wins), and others, and has achieved a total of 29 wins in two generations of 5- and 6-year-olds.
