Kabir Sahib says that there is a three point formula to achive permanent salvation. He says that first of all the Guru must be real, then the holy "Naam" that he gives must be real and finally the disciple must be true. Questions are bound to arise - what does a real Guru mean? Are there unreal Gurus too? Is there a criteria to judge a Guru? Then comes the real holy "Naam". Now what is this? Aren't there thousands of names of Gods and Goddesses that we are chanting daily? How is that real "Naam" different from these other names? Lastly how can a disciple be true? Are there any qualifiers for a true disciple?
