Beaujolais || Light French Red Wine || Decants with D

In this episode D introduces French Beaujolais.
The wine comes from the very Southern end of Burgundy, North of Lyon. It is made out of the Gamay grape. It is a light red wine with some acidity, but no tannins.
Beaujolais comes in three quality levels, the regular Beaujolais, Beaujolais Villages and the Beaujolais Cru. The last come out of the 10 specific villages that are designated to carry the Cru label, such as Morgon.
