Il Pomodoro Galapagos è un Pomodoro selvaggio (wild) estremamente interessante e raro, infatti si è sviluppato solo nelle Isole Galapagos (si trovano nell'Oceano e fanno parte dell'Ecuador, guardate la cartina nelle foto per rendervi conto) dove nasce in maniera selvaggia vicino al mare, infatti, fra le tante caratteristiche particolari di questo Pomodoro, c'è quello di sopportare piu di altri la presenza del sale, visto che cresce anche vicino al mare in maniera spontanea, per quello si definisce "selvaggio", inoltre sopporta bene la pioggia ed è naturalmente resistente alle malattie. Forma dei piccoli frutti di colore giallo / arancione molto gustosi di sapore agro dolce, in teoria la pianta non necessita di potature e viene alta anche due metri in forma relativamente cespugliosa. Qualcosa di unico infatti si tratta di un Solanum Cheesmaniae.

El Tomate de Galápagos es un Tomate silvestre extremadamente interesante y raro, de hecho se desarrolló solo en las Islas Galápagos (están ubicadas en el Océano y son parte de Ecuador, mira el mapa en las fotos para darte cuenta) donde nace en un camino salvaje cerca del mar, de hecho, entre las muchas características particulares de este tomate, está la de resistir la presencia de la sal más que otros, ya que también crece espontáneamente cerca del mar, por lo que se le define como "salvaje". llueve bien y es naturalmente resistente a las enfermedades. Forma frutos pequeños, muy sabrosos de color amarillo / naranja con un sabor agridulce, en teoría la planta no requiere poda y tiene hasta dos metros de altura en una forma relativamente tupida. De hecho, algo único es un Solanum Cheesmaniae.
