Just when you think the Delhi Mumbai Expressway is India’s answer to smooth, futuristic highways… reality hits you like a giant pothole on NH48! 😅

In this video, I take you along on my road trip from Vadodara to Daman. The first leg on the Delhi Mumbai Expressway till Bharuch was an absolute joy—smooth tarmac, great infrastructure, and that “wow, India is really changing” feeling. But then came the Bharuch traffic jam—stuck for an hour and a half before the exit.

And after Bharuch? Welcome to National Hell 48 🚧—pothole-ridden roads, bumper-to-bumper traffic, heavy rains, and complete chaos. The contrast between the shiny new expressway and this stretch of NH48 really makes you question how Viksit Bharat aspirations meet reality on the ground.

Thankfully, my Volkswagen Taigun kept me safe and confident through it all. 🙌

The trip finally ended on a happier note in Daman, the forever-favorite weekend getaway for Gujjus! 🌊🍻 Took a rainy evening walk on the beautiful Daman promenade, soaking in the vibes, the sea breeze, and the beauty of this coastal town.
