during world war II ....TURNAWARE point was transformed into EMBARKATION AREA FOR THE US ARMY the road and beach was transformed in 1943 the American army units that were based there were the 29th infantry division v corps US army which in this area for a very short time of course today I have discovered remains of Nissan hutt's and anti-aircraft in areas but I should imagine there's a lot more hidden in the trees the soldiers that we're here we're taken by boat to Omaha Beach where a lot of soldiers did not come back may their souls rest in peace there is still some more things to find in this area which we will at some point in the future I do hope you enjoyed this video and if you would like to buy us a coffee the link is below. ...https://www.buymeacoffee.com/kernowexp1n
