A short notice wild camp overnighter in an abandoned quarry in the Dee Valley, North East Wales.
Due to a period of good, hot weather and fortuous time off from work, myself and camping/walking buddy Ian decided to do an overnighter in a former quarry above Bron Heulog/Sun Bank near Trevor.
A great camp out with a drop of forecast rain soon after dawn. Nice and quiet all night, with the odd large breeze, only a squawking Peregrine Falcon nesting above us, ruptured the peace after dawn.
Upon leaving but not filmed, a nice Red Kite glided overhead.
