This is the largest gouache portrait painting that I have done! Yes that’s right, it is done with gouache. I have been dabbling with gouache here and there and I am ready to dive in. Painting traditionally is a big goal of mine for 2026 and this piece is going to start me off really well. I am excited for you to see the final result as not many people use gouache when it comes to canvas'. This portrait is also made for the month of January. So this gouache portrait has carnations and the zodiac signs Capricorn and Aries. Come watch as I start from sketch to finished illustration on this canvas!
