Paraglider Flight from Bidean nam Bian Glencoe Scotland in October 2025 launching above cloud during a high pressure inversion. Normal car park was full of tourists so we had to walk up via Allt Coire nam Beithach which was unpleasant at the top with loose steep scree at the headwall before the bealach. We launched off the top of Church Door buttress in a southerly direction with a compass course of 300 degrees in our heads in case the cloud cover crept back in. Flew round the shoulder of Stob Coire nam Beith to get a good view of the famous rock climbs on Aonach Dubh complete with Brocken spectre then down to the Clachaig for a pint of Cesar Augustus. Good to get such a pleasant day out at the end of October.
