I bought 4.5kg(10lbs) Shogoin daikon radish for 298 yen(about 2.7USD). It was very huge, so I made curry in the radish like a Doramon gadget Hatake no Restaurant(Restaurant Farm). It appeared Doramon: Nobita and the Birth of Japan 2016. Basic Japanese style curry uses onion but this time I used celery instead of onion. The curry was spicy and yummy. After eating, I made simmered radish and pork belly. It's a popular Japanese home cooking. It has a sweet-salty taste.
