A song for peace. Shalom Salaam has only those two words, which are repeated an equal number of times. The main part of the song (before the little extension at the end) repeats each 38 times, for a total of 76 together -- a number in numerology that means enlightenment and love.
Shalom and Salaam are both beautiful words that mean peace, as well as hello and goodbye.
Tsuzamen is a world music band with a Jewish vibe from Madison, Wisconsin. Our name means "together" in Yiddish. Many other languages use a similar word, such as zusammen in German, sammen in Norwegian and Danish, and assieme in Italian. We sing and play in many languages and traditions, sounding the possibility and joy of togetherness.
