Do not waste men looking for one assassin. There will be four.

But Poirot discovers something worse than gunmen: placement. Chalk marks on stone. Wax-smeared paper tags. “Candles” delivered at 11:15 beneath the arcades. Leaflets timed to turn civilians into a weapon. And a plan that doesn’t merely aim to kill two men—it aims to ignite a nation.

Poirot and the Two Crowns is a political pressure-cooker mystery set in Lisbon on the brink, where a detective can see the mechanism… but cannot command the crowd.

This is an original mystery written in the classic Golden Age style, featuring a respectful homage to Agatha Christie’s characters, while remaining entirely our own invention.
