Hello
This video may seem a little long, but with good reason. In this one, we tackle repotting a few bromeliads after flowering. This was inspired by a question I saw on social media with respect to caring for a bromeliad after it has flowered.
Ever wondered what do with a bromeliad after it flowers? If the mother dies what should one do? I also share the ratios for the growing medium I use when repotting. Remember this may work for some and it may not for others. The truth in my opinion about growing medium really comes down to your prevailing climatic conditions i.e. ambient humidity, temperature, water availability and then, of course, the type of plant you intend repotting. In my case, I have high humidity a year-round rainfall and no frost. Average temperatures of around 21 Celcius or about 69 Fahrenheit.
Lastly, remember you can remove Bromeliad pups without roots even when the plant is less than 2/3 the mother's size but what's crucial to remember is you run the risk of losing the plant.
Well, that is it, hope you enjoy this video and find it informative and useful. If you have any comments please let me know below and I'll see what I can do to answer them.
