In this HIGHER EXTENSIONS BALLET workout, I will take you through a series of ballet stretches and mobility exercises to improve your leg, hip and back flexibility. These flexibility exercises will target specific muscle groups to free up those hips for high ballet leg lifts, developpes front and side as well as for your arabesque. These ballet stretches for flexibility are great for beginners, intermediate and advanced level ballet dancers alike to achieve higher leg extensions. For the beginner ballet stretches, you may need a theraband or pair of tights to assist you, apart from that, you won’t need any other equipment for this ballet flexibility workout.
There will be a new episode in this Higher Extensions Ballet series every Thursday throughout April, so make sure you check back in next week for the episode on strength exercises!
I recommend repeating this ballet flexibility workout twice per week for the best results in your dancing!
