Custom Code in a Sandbox? RLM and WASM
What if your language model could write custom analysis code on the fly? RLM with WebAssembly makes this possible.
This video demonstrates RLM's two-level architecture for log analysis:
Level 1 (DSL): Built-in commands for simple text operations - find, regex, count. No code generation, just instant pattern matching.
Level 2 (WebAssembly): For complex analysis, RLM's coder model writes Rust code that compiles to WebAssembly and runs in a secure sandbox. Map-reduce handles aggregation and statistics on large datasets.
Demos included:
L1 DSL: Count ERROR lines in logs
L2 WASM CLI: Error ranking, percentiles, unique IPs
L2 WASM Web UI: Unique IP counting, error type ranking, HTTP status codes, response time percentiles
WebAssembly enables safe, sandboxed execution with some trade-offs: ASCII only (no unicode), 64MB memory limit, and a subset of Rust.
More capability levels coming soon - Level 3 (native Rust CLI) and Level 4 (recursive LLM calls).
