It is hard to get people to limit how much work they have in progress. That is too bad because limiting WIP is a proven way to improve focus and flow.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses (and even lives) were saved by shifting systems and adjusting how services were delivered. This kind of agility required a deep understanding of how services were delivered. They were able to achieve better focus and flow – with or without WIP limits.
This presentation will explore the parts of a system and ways you can adjust the services you deliver to respond in an ever-changing world.
