Connie Calhoun, a neighbor of Todd and Linda Stermer, finally took the stand after being arrested for failure to appear. Calhoun recalled the events of the fatal fire. She described seeing smoke from the Stermer's house and going to the scene. The neighbor remembered a conversation with Linda where she allegedly thought she ran over her husband with a van.
