রূপপুর পারমাণবিক বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র এলাকায় এখন চলছে শেষ মুহুর্তের প্রস্তুতি। প্রকল্প পরিচালক  ড. মো. শৌকত আকবর জানান, পারমাণবিক জ্বালানি-ইউরেনিয়াম, প্রকল্প এলাকায় সংরক্ষণ করার জন্য সবধরনের স্থাপনা নির্মাণ শেষ হেয়েছে। অন্যদিকে বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তিমন্ত্রী স্থপতি ইয়াফেস ওসমান বলেন, আন্তর্জাতিক পরমাণু শক্তি এজেন্সি- IAEA এর নীতিমালা ও অনুমোদনেই রূপপুরে আসবে ইউরেনিয়াম। সূত্র বলছে, আগামি বছরের শুরুর দিকে পরীক্ষামূলক উৎপাদনে যাবে রূপপুর
