Crystal Lattice and Unit Cell: A three-dimensional cubic lattice. The three-dimensional arrangement of particles as points in space is called space lattice or crystal lattice. There are 14 different three-dimensional lattices are possible which are called Bravais lattice. Bravais was a French mathematician. Unit cell parameters a, b, c are three edges, as α, β and γ are the angles between them. The unit cell is the simple part of a crystal lattice which repeats itself to generate a crystal. In the unit cell, the three edges are represented by a, b, and c, and the angles between these edges as α, β, and γ.Unit cell: 1 Primitive 2 Centered: 1 Body-centered 2 Face centered 3End centered.
