In this video I am enjoying solo winter camping near the frozen lake and I sleep in the car.
During the day I am spending time in the hot tent with my homemade expedition wood stove with some nice meals, watching movies etc. I walk around the lake and enjoy the scenery. At night i sleep in my car without any heater. I warm up the car for 15-20 minutes then go to sleep and turn it off until the morning.
This trip lasted for 4 nights but only some fragments were filmed.
Q: Why am i using a gasoline Coleman stove for cooking?
A: It is more convenient. and it gives a steady temperature flame which can be adjusted vs cooking on an extremely hot wood stove.
Some of the gear used:
Wood stove: Size 22 by 10 inch homemade with internal baffle. Large size allows to take up to 20 inch long wood logs, burn much longer and conserve smoldering embers for hours.
