Trying a New Client | Amatsuki Mahjong 天月麻雀 | Riichi Mahjong among others

Amatsuki Mahjong Client a free Steam game. However, there are purchasable cosmetics and gacha elements like Riichi City and Mahjong Soul. The game launched in Jan 25 and is still in Early Access.

My first impressions are that the game runs fine, it meets the basics to run the game. There are minor annoyances, but whether the game will be able to compete in terms of Riichi Mahjong to the other clients are the gacha system, queue times (in higher rooms), and the frequent events.

What the platform also offers and is unique is the different versions of Mahjong the client has to offer, such as Taiwanese Mahjong, Sichuan Mahjong, and Hong Kong Mahjong. The game has English support, but the voice lines are in JP/CN/Cantonese.
