It's springtime, and love is in the air and the blossom is blooming as maître d' Fred opens the doors to the new look First Dates restaurant. It's business as usual until one dater is faced with more than she had bargained for.

First to stroll through the doors is 24-year-old tweed-lover Will. This dapper gent is looking for his English rose to share his love of the countryside, but having never had a girlfriend, he's not a natural when it comes to chatting up a lady. So when fellow tweed-admirer Fran walks through the doors, will his dreams be answered?

47-year-old mom of two Emma is all glammed up and ready to play the love lottery, but cupid throws in a huge surprise. Following numerous dating disasters, she's desperate to find "the one," but when the man who broke her heart walks through the door, the drama begins.

Also searching for Mr. Right is Muslim science student Sameer, a man with the full package; he's clever, ambitious and charming… but as he reveals to his date Ciaran, life isn't always as easy as it seems…

Cue Daniel, AKA "Squid," a lofty longhaired rocker, striding into the restaurant on a mission to break the rules.
