Simple LED display tester concept that may or may not be built for work.
Using a JFET as a current limiter for the CA display, just because I messed with that a while ago, trying to get a more stable voltage out of a zener diode.
De "Arduino" here is a Arduino Pro Mini (5V) Board that has its ATmega328P replaced by a ATmega88PA-AU (It's an ATmega88P) because I was curious if these 88P's could be used as regular Arduino's. They are of-course pin-compatible with the 328P and that's why I went the easy way just replacing it for the test. The ATmega88P is running its internal oscillator @ 8MHz, the oscillator present on the board for the 328P is not being used. I have messed with different fuse settings and Arduino configurations for a couple of nights but have been unsuccessful in getting it to work @ 16MHz.
Here's the guide I followed:

And here's the little schematic for a JFET to be turned into a constant-current diode:

Replace the resistor with a 10K potentiometer. The JFET I use in the video is a 2N4856.
