Why won't it start? As we continue building our 1974 Yamaha DT250 into a vintage MX racer, we clean the carb and try to start it...again...and again...and again.
After going through the whole carb several more times we finally land on a couple small things it may be. A small tear in the float bowl gasket? A clean but stuck pilot jet? With parts on order we turn our attention to some other maintenance items...
We replace the front fork oil, clean and lube the drive chain, and lube the clutch and brake cables.
Stay tuned for the next video because once it's running we can start building it into a weekend racer!
