In the early days of Led Zepplin, Jimmy Page's primary guitar was a three-pickup 1960 Gibson Les Paul Custom "Black Beauty" with a Bigsby tailpiece. This guitar became known as "the one that got away" after it was stolen during a border crossing to Montreal while on tour.
