Accessed water at end of dam dividing upper and lower lough. Paddled upper lough first, wind was fairly strong westerly so blew me up lough quite fast. I knew there would be shelter in several small bays on way back so I stuck to these to get a bit of a rest on return. Kneeled on my board to dercrease wind resistance. Got back to car and walked 200m down road to access lower lough via slipway and just paddled upwind a short distance to get a nice view of the waterfall, which i went for a splash in!
