With summer coming to an end I was invited to go backpacking in Upper Peninsula through the Porcupine Mountains. It was my first time do anything remotely wild since my boy scouting days. Couldn't have picked a better place to disappear for a few days. 10 out of 10 would do again. And we're already in talks about maybe a "bike-packing" trip now.
