In this video we demonstrate the speed of manual tool changes on MR-1 using our proprietary Automatic Tool Setter. For the first operation we use a 1/4" End Mill to rough and finish a boss from 1045 Steel. The second operation creates a 0.020" chamfer using a 1/4" chamfer mill. Both tools can be purchased from our online store with the MR-1 CNC Mill. The 'Chip to chip' tool change time was 58 seconds.
