Let’s talk about this “Meghan stole clothes from a photoshoot” nonsense because the whole thing exposes exactly how deranged the media ecosystem around her has become.

First of all, the accusation itself is absurd.

Meghan… stealing from a photoshoot?
From a professional set?
A set with contracts, call sheets, stylists, brand reps, publicists, accountants, insurance, inventory logs, the whole machine?

It’s not just false.
It’s logistically impossible.

On shoots, every single item is documented, pulled, checked, tagged, signed in, and signed out.
You don’t just “walk off” with clothes.
A toothbrush gets tracked on a major set, let alone designer clothing.

Anyone who has ever stepped within ten feet of a real production knows this.

So the idea that Meghan Markle, one of the most recognisable women on the planet — would commit petty theft in a room filled with corporate witnesses?
It isn’t just wrong.
It’s laughable.

Second: the statement from her team wasn’t dramatic — it was necessary.

Because this is how the smear pipeline works now:

A troll with a cartoon avatar invents a lie.
A hate account amplifies it.
A UK tabloid prints it as “concern.”
The palace says nothing.
And suddenly Meghan is forced to clean up a mess created by anonymous strangers.

This isn’t journalism.
It’s industrialised harassment wrapped in a headline.

And the only reason the statement came out is because the smear was spreading fast — right on schedule, right before a new project.

Third: the most ironic part? Keeping items from a shoot is completely normal.

Celebrities often:

• get gifted pieces,
• are allowed to keep selects, or
• retain items for security reasons.

Because clothing worn by public figures gets:

• stolen
• resold
• auctioned without permission
• cloned by counterfeiters

So sometimes the safest option is to let the talent keep the pieces.
This isn’t special treatment — it’s standard industry practice.

The people pretending not to know this are either new to the real world or pretending to be.

Fourth: the double standard is bright neon and impossible to ignore.

If Kate, Beatrice, Eugenie, or Camilla kept items from a shoot, the story would be:

“Oh, the brand insisted she keep it!”
“A gesture of respect!”
“She deserved it!”

But with Meghan?

They jump straight to:
“She stole.”

And we all know why.

Racist tropes + misogyny + resentment = the same cocktail they always serve.

This is the exact trifecta historically used to smear Black women:

Angry

Lazy

Criminal or immoral

And they’ve used all three on Meghan, without a shred of evidence for any of it.

Fifth: the timing is not a coincidence. It never is.

Every time Meghan has something new coming, they whip up a fake scandal:

• Archetypes → a “bullying” story
• Netflix series → “neighbors hate her”
• Invictus → “diva demands”
• Nigeria trip → “stole jewelry”
• New business venture → “stole clothes”

It’s a formula.
A tired one.
Predictable to the minute.

They try to derail her momentum, poison the conversation, and drown out her wins.

And yet?
Her projects always outperform the hate.

Sixth: the royalist–anti-Meghan alliance has reached full MAGA energy.

The obsession.
The conspiracies.
The cult-like delusion.
The total detachment from reality.

It’s the same vibe.

And now tabloids are literally scraping content from the very same trolls who spend all day foaming at the mouth online.

This ecosystem is just eating its own tail at this point.

Here’s the bottom line:

The fact Meghan had to issue a statement over something this ridiculous proves how toxic the environment around her is.

If a white royal did the exact same thing?
Silence.
Or praise.

When Meghan does it?
Scandal.

But the best part is this:
Her team is clearly done letting people lie without consequences.

And that shift, that refusal to roll over, is a very, very good sign.
