Krawler Soma is actually a broken card, 1 card, equal to 3 Link Value, but... instead of Krawler Deck... Krawler Soma actually works better in other decks.

One of the best synergy decks will be the Beetrooper Deck, and they did benefit from Soma's effect as an extender or backup plan when their first move was disrupted. Soma's special summon required to flip a monster to the facedown position, and Beetrooper can just tribute the facedown monster to special summon another Beetrooper monster, perfect.
