This video explains the inverse z-transform using partial fraction expansion and the table that contains popular functions. The inverse z-transform transfers a signal from the z domain (complex frequency domain) to the discrete time domain. Three examples are solved to demonstrate the three cases when the roots (poles) of the signal are distinct real roots, repeated roots, and complex roots. The fourth example was given to demonstrate the impact of the region of convergence on the inverse z-transform.
