Back in the garage and up to my elbows in grease again. This time tackling a cylinder head replacement on my 2002 Honda Rancher 350 after an accidental thread delete during a valve adjustment. We're keeping costs low on this one.
What started as a simple fix turned into a full top end job. New Amazon special cylinder head with valves pre-installed, fresh gaskets, a quick hone on the jug, and a careful valve adjustment to hopefully keep things quiet this time around.
I walk through pulling the plastics, exhaust, and tank, bolting everything back up, and crossing my fingers during that nerve wracking first start. Spoiler it runs great, doesn’t leak, and sounds better than ever.
