Starting February 3, 2026, you can register for the CCNP Automation exam based on the updated v2.0 exam topics, which will be released in July 2025. The exam topics for CCNA Automation and CCIE Automation will remain unchanged. Candidates pursuing CCNA or CCIE Automation should continue preparing with the current exam topics.

What will happen to current cybersecurity certifications after the changes on February 3, 2026?
Effective February 3, 2026, active Cybersecurity Associate and Professional certifications will automatically be migrated to CCNA Cybersecurity and CCNP Cybersecurity. In addition, active cert holders can download the new CCNA and CCNP Cybersecurity certification and badge from their profile on the Cisco Certification Tracking System platform.
