Day 4 This morning in the Czech Republic, I joined a group that meets three to four times a week for a cold plunge in the Ostravice River near Ostrava.
Even though the air was warmer, the river was still cold fast-moving, sharp, and deeply refreshing. I’ve joined this group before on past trips, and stepping back into the water felt familiar, grounding, and clarifying in a way that’s hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it.
