I invite you to particepate in this dogma stitch challenge in 2026. Every 1. Thursday in the month there will be a new challenge. In this video I show you how to make a book for your embroideries to live in.

The Dogma rules:
Every month: 1 piece of fabric in 25 x 25 cm or 10 x 10 inc. You chose the color of your fabric and your threads. I will not interfere in what you chose.
Inspiration Strips and stripes:
1. Cut a lot of many different fabric strips on 3,5 cm / 1,5 inc. Sew 2 different ones together in the short ends so you have a strip at at least 25 cm. Sew the strips on the background fabric with turn edges. Place the different strips so no seams are upon the previous stripe. Fill the whole 25 x 25 cm background fabric.
2. Trance 1 circle on ca. 20 cm in diameter. Sew 3 rounds of running stitches. Sew the 3 rounds very close together.
3. Only sew inside the traced circle. Use only straight stitches in columns/rows over all the seams. Sew the stitches very close together. Change the color of your thread every time you reach a new fabric. That will be 3 times on every strip, on both sites of the strip. That was a lot of info, but I show you everything in the video.
