📘 One Socket Two Switch One Indicator & One Fuse Connection
In this wiring setup, one socket, two switches, one indicator, and one fuse are interconnected to provide safe and controlled power supply.
This circuit is commonly used in homes, workshops, and electrical boards.
🔌 Components Used:
1 Socket – For connecting electrical appliances
2 Switches – To control power independently
1 Indicator – To show power status
1 Fuse – For safety against overload or short circuit
Wires – Phase (Live), Neutral, and Earth
📝 Working Description:
The phase wire (live) is first connected to the fuse. The fuse protects the entire circuit by cutting off the supply when excessive current flows.
From the fuse output, the phase is distributed:
One line goes to Switch–1
Another line goes to Switch–2
From these switches, the controlled phase supply is connected to the socket terminals.
The indicator is connected parallel to the socket to show whether power is ON or OFF.
The neutral wire is directly connected to:
Socket
Indicator
The earth wire is connected to the socket body for safety.
⚙️ Advantages of this Connection:
Provides safe power distribution
Easy to control two separate loads
Indicator helps to monitor voltage presence
Fuse protects appliances and wiring
