HORUS 3D vision system is an excellent tool that supports many production and preparation processes. It is an additional tool that eliminates complicated positioning systems. Thanks to positioning the robot in space, we can take full advantage of the arm's reach and it determines the actual working field. #HORUS is a tool mounted directly to the robot arm so that we do not use additional frames or constructions. Thanks to the selected wavelength of the laser, its operation is resistant to distortions caused by light and heat. It can be used for new as well as existing robotic applications. The big advantage is the possibility to use publicly available 3D model libraries, implementation of the model is simple, as is HMI support. A #robot with an eye for a robot is able to find objects in less than 1 s.
