Manchester’s Goosey is on a roll. After a standout collab with Jamie G on ‘Way U Move’ for Paradise, he now makes a fiery solo debut on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘Funky Shit’—a two-tracker stacked with groove and attitude, out 28th March.

Title track ‘Funky Shit’ features the unmistakable vocals of Dope Earth Alien, laced over low-slung basslines and rubbery funk that’s already tearing up sets from Music On in Amsterdam to Creamfields. On the B-side, ‘To The Bass’ brings straight club energy—warped, bouncy, and built for peak-time chaos.

“I grew up listening to Hot Creations, so releasing an EP on the label is a dream come true and something I’ve worked towards from the start,” says Goosey. “Jamie’s heavy support of both tracks last year makes this release even more special.”

With recent drops on Deeperfect, Kaluki Musik, and Moan, plus gigs locked at WHP, Secret Sessions Ibiza (b2b Jean Pierre), and Paradise at Creamfields, Goosey’s rise is undeniable. Add co-signs from Bibi, Pawsa, and Marco Carola, and it’s clear 2025 is his year.
