So you want to unlock deeper insights from your address data?
In this quick tutorial, we’ll show you how to access and use
the US Address Enrichment Webtool from your Smarty account.
First, log in to your Smarty account.
Once you get to your dashboard, you'll see all of the subscriptions you can access. To use the address enrichment tools, you'll need an active US Property Data, [Principal or Financial Edition],
or US Enrichment, [GeoReference or US Enrichment Secondary Edition] subscription.
Now that you've verified your active subscription,
go to the ribbon on the left side and select "Tools."
Here you'll find four of the web tools that Smarty offers.
Click on "US Address Enrichment"
and you'll be brought directly to the US Address Enrichment web tool.
You can query the US Address Enrichment API by an address or a SmartyKey.
The SmartyKey is the persistent unique identifier
that comes with Smarty's address verification results,
and will also be displayed when you get your enrichment data from the
Principal, Financial, or Georeference editions of US Address Enrichment.
For this example, we'll use an address.
I'll open the drop-down for "select dataset",
and now I need to decide what information I want back.
If I want to know US Census Tract and Block data, I'll select "Geo-reference."
If I want more than 130 financial property data points, I'll select "Financial."
If I want over 350 property data points, then I'll select "Principal."
This will only show the options you have active subscriptions for.
For my example, I'll use "principal",
and then smash my head on my keyboard to get an address.
Once I hit "submit," I am able to view all of that tasty data about this property.
Have a blessed day, my child.
